Marchbridge Builders Limited is a civil engineering company first founded by James O’Toole who came over from Ireland at just 16 years old. The Company was formally established by James in October 1981. James is now enjoying his retirement whilst his son Sean O’Toole and business partner Carl Wiseman run the company.

We are committed to providing quality workmanship in a safe working environment. We employ Gordon Woods MCIOB, CEnv, MAPS, Tech IOSH as our Health and Safety Consultant. Gordon monitors our practices and keeps us up to date with new legislation.

We pride ourselves on staff training and safety. All our staff hold CSCS cards for different categories of work and all Machine Operatives hold CMPE Plant Operators cards.

As well as the relevant certificates for Plant Operators and CSC cards, all our staff are also trained in:

Confined spaces
First Aid
Manual Handling
Working at Heights
Asbestos Awareness
COSHH

We believe that the training and development of our staff is the secret to our success.

Awarded by the Blacko Parish Council for contributions to the parish by rebuilding the village retaining wall.
