Testimonials
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your company for the significant help and support you gave Lancashire County Council's Environment Directorate earlier this summer, in response to the exceptionally high levels of rainfall we endured across the County.
I have received a number of exceilent reports from the Highway Operations and Area teams regarding the professional and flexible support you provided in very challenging circumstances, not least the time of day and the hours involved. It is clear that your co-operation and joint working during this period helped ensure that the County Council was able to respond to these challenges more effectively. This is very much appreciated.

Work was undertaken at Moleside End Farm in the autumn of 2016 to repair the culvert under the access road to Moleside End Farm damaged by storm Desmond.
The work was undertaken by Marchbridge Builder Ltd with a high level of professionalism. The work was undertaken safely with the site cordoned off. Materials were segregated in separate areas and the the workspace was kept tidy. The workmen wore high vis jackets and hard hats throughout the work and brought their own welfare facilities . We had two points of contact, one on site and one in the office and were kept well informed throughout the process. Disruption was kept to a minimum and were were able to operate normally on our working farm.
The work was completed on time through poor weather conditions and on budget to our satisfaction and the satisfaction of DEFRA.

Marchbridge Builders Limited have carried out work for us previously and we are happy to continue employing the company. On this occasion, however, they have exceeded our expectations and have transformed a dilapidated, undermined and unstable bridge into a strong structure. The workmanship is of the finest quality and the organisation within a tight working space and river environment has been outstanding. We congratulate them on their achievement and can fully recommend Marchbridge Builders Limited for similar civil engineering projects.

The Peter Reed cup is awarded annually to the persons, who have contributed most to the Parish. It was the unanimous decision of the Council that Sean Haran and Steve Wilson receive it this year, in recognition of their professionalism in the rebuilding of the retaining wall in the village, which has attracted a lot of most favourable comment.
